The Dangerous Goods Group E – Warehouse Personnel: Classroom Training equips warehouse personnel (Categories 5 & 8 from the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations Table 1.5.A) with the essential knowledge and skills required to handle dangerous goods safely. During the course, participants learn to identify potential hazards and apply the correct procedures to ensure the safe transport of dangerous goods by air.

Throughout this 1-day classroom training, learners receive comprehensive course materials, practical assessments, and expert instructor guidance. Moreover, interactive exercises help participants apply their learning immediately and receive real-time feedback, thereby strengthening their confidence and accuracy in warehouse operations.

Upon successful completion, learners are awarded a SACAA-accredited Certificate of Competency, valid for 24 months. Consequently, refresher courses should be scheduled at least 30 days before the certificate expires to maintain compliance and ensure continued operational readiness.

The Dangerous Goods Group E – Warehouse Personnel course, accredited by the SACAA, trains ramp and warehouse personnel to manage dangerous goods safely. Participants actively demonstrate competence in all functions related to the air transport of dangerous goods for which they are responsible. According to Subsection 1.5 of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, employers must ensure personnel fully understand and can perform their assigned duties before executing them. Therefore, this course provides tailored training and assessments to help participants achieve compliance. Additionally, learners gain the knowledge and skills required for safe and regulatory-compliant handling of dangerous goods.
