Dangerous Goods Group F – Freight Forwarders and Courier Personnel: Virtual Training is specifically designed for personnel responsible for accepting general cargo (excluding dangerous goods) who are employed by, or work on behalf of, operators, freight forwarders, cargo agents, and agencies acting for operators (Categories 4 & 7 in the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations Table 1.5.A).

During this 1-day virtual training, participants actively learn to identify, classify, and safely handle dangerous goods while adhering to aviation safety regulations. Moreover, the course provides comprehensive digital learning materials, online assessments, and expert instructor guidance to ensure learners fully understand and confidently apply all procedures.

Additionally, participants need a device with a video camera and a microphone to complete online forms and assessments. The interactive platform enables learners to engage directly with the instructor and receive real-time feedback, which enhances understanding and reinforces practical skills.

Upon successful completion, learners earn a SACAA-accredited Certificate of Competency, valid for 24 months. Therefore, learners should schedule refresher courses at least 30 days before the certificate expires to maintain full compliance and operational readiness.

Dangerous Goods Group F – Freight Forwarders and Courier Personnel is designed for personnel handling general cargo (excluding dangerous goods) on behalf of operators, freight forwarders, cargo agents, and related agencies. Participants actively gain the skills required to manage the transport of dangerous goods by air safely and in compliance with aviation regulations.

According to Subsection 1.5 of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, employers must ensure personnel fully understand and can competently perform their assigned duties. Therefore, this course provides comprehensive training and practical guidance to achieve regulatory compliance and operational safety.
